Mathematics E-learning for Kids

Hi! My name is Nanda. I am a student of Mathematics Education at University of Surabaya.

6 × 4 = 4 × 6, Are they the same?

The result of 6 × 4 and 4 × 6 is the same, that is 24. But they have the different logic. The situation of  6 × 4 and 4 × 6 is not same.

 For example:
John and David have to move 24 box. John more strong than David, so that John able to bring 6 box for 4 times. In mathematics is 4 × 6.

But, David just bring  4 box for 6 times. In mathematics is 6 × 4.

John more than fast than David because he can move 24 box in 4 times but David need 6 times to move 24 box.
So, 6 × 4 = 4 × 6 because the result of 6 × 4  and  4 × 6 is the same.  But the concept of  6 × 4 = 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 is not same with 4 × 6 = 6 + 6 + 6 + 6.
Mathematics teach logic, it is not only about calculate number.

The Difference Between log_a b^n and [log_a b]^n

Hi guys, now, I will discuss about the mistake which often the students do in the concept of LOGARITHM.
According the survey which my lecturer doing, he finding that the students often assume that,

 log_a b^n = [log_a b]^n
